Lindy Ryan is a recognized industry analyst, award-winning professor, and bestselling author. In 2011, Ryan became the co-founder of Radiant Advisors, a business intelligence research and advisory firm, where, as Chief Content Officer, she leads the company's editorial and research divisions, and its data enablement practice, for clients that have included 21st Century Fox Films, Warner Bros., and Disney. She later became an award-winning professor of visual analytics at Rutgers University and Montclair State University, and the author of two textbooks—The Visual Imperative and Data Storytelling with Tableau. In 2017, Ryan founded Black Spot Books, an independent small press focused in speculative fiction, which was acquired by Vesuvian Media Group in 2019. She is a best-selling and award-winning author/editor with projects that span non-fiction and fiction, many of which have been adapted for film. Ryan currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Book Publishers Association (IBPA) and was named as one of Publishers Weekly's 2020 Star Watch Honorees. In 2021, she founded DARKLINE with author and screenwriter Burke Bryant. 


   Burke Bryant’s creative career began as an actor working alongside talent including John Cleese, Emily Mortimer, Alford Molina, Christopher Walken, and William H. Macy. After leaving Hollywood, Bryant went on to launch a successful photography and photojournalist career and worked for organizations such as Sea Shepherd Australia before becoming the CEO of Blur Management, an artist management agency, and later founding the Portland-based creative agency WE ARE PDX in 2014. Today, Bryant is a screenwriter and thriller novelist. When not writing, he runs Humanitarian Aid and Rescue Project (HARP), a humanitarian organization that delivers critical aid into areas experiencing war, ethnic cleansing, conflict, and disaster. In 2021, Bryant founded DARKLINE with award-winning author and editor Lindy Ryan.
